The Bicycle Manual for Foreigners in China. Advice for anyone who wants to hit the road on two wheels in the Middle Kingdom:

When in China, do as the Chinese do: bicycle. Of all the transportation possibilities available, it perhaps offers you the some of the most freedom and flexibility. No more traffic jams. No more catching the latest flu or virus in crowded buses and subways. No more fighting for a taxi during rush hour. No more being a moving target on the sidewalks.

Her lines of dramatic and luxurious wearable art add a certain air of extravagance to her life – and the lives of those who put on her work. (read the full article here)

A Little Conversation for a Change. My take on the Breakfast Conversation series at the Club at Key Center:

At least, that’s what the folks who attend the Breakfast Series at the Club at Key
Center are banking on.

Every third Tuesday of the month since June 2006, a diverse group of no more than 20 entrepreneurs and corporate executives – primarily, though not limited to, members of the Club – converges upon a small corner meeting room overlooking Lake Erie and the historic mall of downtown Cleveland. There are city dwellers and suburbanites; East-siders and West-siders; natives and transplants. But one thing binds them together – the idea that conversation is more than a few trifling words. Conversation is powerful. (read the full article here)
